Resolve to Make a Difference/Christina is Motivated to Improve her English Literacy!

Meet Christina, and her tutor, Felicia. A working mom, Christina makes time in her busy schedule for her tutoring sessions because she is highly motivated to improve her English literacy skills. Christina is a diligent learner! She and Felicia now comfortably converse in English.

Literacy has the power to changes lives. This year, why not resolve to make a difference by becoming a volunteer tutor with One-to-One Adult Literacy Partners? You will find a meaningful volunteer experience that makes a real difference in someone’s life!

Registration is now open for our January training for new volunteers. The training will take place on Saturday, January 19 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Manitowoc Public Library. The training is free and all materials will be provided; registration by January 16 is required to attend. To learn more, contact Jo Ann Dent, One-to-One Adult Literacy Partners, at jadent@manitowoc.org or 920-686-3026.
