Renewals, Loan Periods, and Overdue Fines
- Items may be renewed for 3 loan periods, provided they have not been requested by other patrons.
- Your library card number is required to renew items.
- Your password or PIN is the last four digits of your telephone number.
- Please note Interlibrary Loan (ILL) items from outside the Manitowoc Calumet Library System may not be renewed online or via the automated telephone renewal system. Please ask staff for assistance.
Renew items in person, by phone, or online:
Call our automated renewal line at 920-686-3588 at any time of day. You will need your PIN (last four numbers of the phone number associated with your library card) to use this service. You can also have your library card ready and call a Service Desk at 920-686-3010 or 920-686-3030 during normal business hours.
Log in to your account on the library catalog. If necessary, click on the Checkouts tab. Place a check next to the items you wish to renew, then click on the Renew button at the bottom of the page.
Loan Periods and Overdue Fines
Checkout loan periods and corresponding overdue fines per item are as follows:

Late Fees begin to accrue the day after an item is due. Items not returned after 35 days are considered lost. You are billed to replace them. If you are billed for lost or damaged materials, you may be referred to a collection agency and assessed an additional nonrefundable $10.00 fee. Library accounts that have at least $35 in charges for lost items are referred to a collection agency if lost items are not returned or if no payment is made 14 days after the lost item notice is issued.
