Manitowoc Public Library is far more than just a building—it’s a source of knowledge and information that extends out into our community. From services that extend to our patrons that are physically unable to come to our brick-and-mortar location to the presentations that are better suited for a school’s classroom, MPL’s Outreach opportunities brings the Library to you.
One-to-One Adult Literacy
One-to-One Adult Literacy Partners at the Manitowoc Public Library provides goal-oriented, individualized literacy tutoring. Trained volunteers help adults in Manitowoc County develop and enhance their skills in reading, writing, comprehending, and speaking English.
Manitowoc Public Library provides materials for cardholders of any age that are unable to visit the Library due to an ongoing physical condition, illness, age or other qualifying condition that limits mobility. We offer material selection, delivery, and pickup services.
