Food & Drink

Indulge your senses! Step-by step tutorials and enticing tidbits about all things food and drink.

“What Do We Want?” “Better Condiments!” “When Do We Want ‘Em?” “NOW!!!” Time to take Big Condiment down a peg or two. Chef Andrew Dunbar will be declaring a “War on Condiments” in this Adults Only (18+) cooking class, convening on Thursday, March 9, at 6PM in MPL’s Balkansky Community Room.

If you’re looking for tastier, healthier (you’d be shocked at how much high-fructose corn syrup is in commercial ketchup), environmentally-sound (the amount of unrecycled plastic that’s generated using store-bought condiments is mind-boggling), just outright better sandwich enhancers, then this is the class for you! Chef Andrew will be guiding attendees through the production of ketchup, a pair of mustards, and a tasty relish!

Registration is required and opens at 9 AM on Thursday, February 23, at www.manitowoclibrary.org/event/war-condiments-chef-andrew-dunbar. Vive Le Homemade Condiments!
