Saturday May 4th is both National Comic Book Day and Star Wars Day. Manitowoc Public Library has combined them into "Comic Book Day: Strikes Back" a day celebrating everything from the world of Star Wars and Comic Books.

Come dressed as your favorite Comic Book or Star Wars character, participate in fun activities, and receive a free comic book!

Activities include:

  • Comic Book Giveaway (while supplies last)
  • Scavenger Hunt
  • Costume Contest
  • Superhero Mask Creation in the Youth Department
  • Bookmark Art Contest Display (vote for your favorite!)

We're very excited to have an appearance from members of the 501st Legion! Come see their fantastic costumes and take pictures at our photo-station. The 501st Legion will be available from 9:30am - 11:00am.

All ages are welcome. Come to Manitowoc Public Library Saturday May 4th for some out of this world comic book fun!
