Due to the Balloon Glow event, there will be no access to Quay Street, the exterior book drop, and the library parking lot all day on Friday, August 15. The Library will still be open our normal hours until 6PM.

Event Details

The 🪐Cosmic Clue Chase🌎 and ⭐Cosmic Cadets🛸 scavenger hunts at Manitowoc Public Library offer space-themed adventures for elementary and middle school students. Participants in grades 3 and up will tackle riddles and clues to uncover a secret word, while younger explorers aged 4 and up can enjoy a simplified version with grown-up assistance. 

Both drop-in activities, running April 21-27, are in celebration of the Lyrids meteor shower and inspire curiosity and discovery while practicing literacy skills. To get started, please stop at the Service Desk in the Youth Department.  🚀✨
