Ever set out to create a meal that looks as good as it tastes only to settle for a can of Beefaroni because you wound up discouraged with the proposed process? Or, perhaps, you’d just like to cook a really nice meal for an everyday occasion, but just don’t have the know-how? Well, search no more! Manitowoc Public Library is teaming up with local chef, Andrew Dunbar, for an online summer virtual cooking class series that we’re calling “At Home with Andrew.”

These once-monthly classes—taking place at 6 PM on Thursdays June 22, July 27, and August 24—will demystify the process for you! Andrew will demonstrate from the friendly confines of his home kitchen just how simple it is to make restaurant-quality dishes with far less effort than you’d imagine. And without having to purchase fancy equipment or ingredients to do so. This is a budget gourmet experience, folks! As an additional bonus, Level 1 Sommelier, Eric Mueller, will be in the mix, as well, to offer suggested wine pairing for your repast. These tutorials will livestream on both MPL’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/manitowoclibrary) and our YouTube channel. Check back to Facebook one week prior to each broadcast for that episode’s ingredient list in order for you to cook along at home. Bon Appetite!
