Program Description

Event Details

The Madrigals are an extraordinary family, living in the enchanted town of Encanto, hidden in the Columbian mountains. Encanto has endowed every Madrigal child with unique magical abilities—every child, that is, except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigals last hope when she discovers that the magic that infuses Encanto is in danger of disappearing forever.

Manitowoc Public Library’s Matt Mottl invites one and all to join him for a charming evening in the Balkansky Community Room on Thursday, August 10, at 5 PM for a screening of Walt Disney Animation Studio’s “Encanto.” The 2021 animated comedy, rated PG with original songs by award-winning songwriter/actor, Lin-Manuel Miranda, is an ideal late-summer family early-evening out. You can even talk about Bruno. Matt won’t mind! Admission is FREE!!! See you in the Balkansky!
