MPL Insider: Beyond the Books with Tim & Emily

THEY'RE BAAACK!!! For One Special Episode at any rate. Tim & Emily are returning to the infoweb airwaves with MPL Insider: Beyond the Books on Thursday, May 23, at 12 PM for the sole purpose of demonstrating that turnabout is fair play! You see, one of MPL’s amazing community partners—Seehafer Broadcasting—has a special exhibition on-display at the Library from April 20 through May 30: WOMT 100—A Century of Live Local Radio in Manitowoc! Tim and Emily figured that since Seehafer is always very generous with providing an array of support to spread the word about our programming and events that it was only fitting to give them some airtime to promote theirs. Steve Kanter—Local Vintage Radio Collector—and Ian Schebel—Seehafer Broadcasting Support Team Specialist—will be in-studio to discuss what motivates a collector, as well as providing some insight into the history of WOMT’s 100^th Anniversary on-the-air! We can virtually assure that this is going to be an amazing return to the internets! So, grab a couple Hot Tamales, a bottle of Ting, and get ready for some fun, nonlinear chit-chat!
