Program Description

Event Details

Join us to celebrate Poetry Month with a reading featuring the favorite poems of seven community leaders and original poems by seven Manitowoc poets on Saturday, April 2 at 1PM in the Balkansky Room at the Manitowoc Public Library. The program is free and open to the public.

The reading will include favorite poems selected by seven community leaders in a variety of fields. The poems selected range from celebrations of nature to love poems to works that call attention to injustice. Seven poets have created works that respond to these poems that have been so deeply meaningful in their community partners’ lives.

Light refreshments will be provided.
