Please be aware that our phone systems will be unavailable on May 27th from 7:00 PM to midnight (12:00 AM). During this period, patrons will not be able to reach library staff by phone or leave voicemail messages.

Library summer hours are now in effect. MPL will be closed every Sunday through Labor Day. All other hours remain the same. Exterior book-drop & access to online resources available 24/7.

Prefer to track your reading with paper?  Pick up a paper tracker at any service desk when the program begins, starting June 10.

How does it work?

  • Program runs June 10 through August 10.
  • Read or be read to a total of 30 days to complete the program.
  • Every five days read earns you a prize!
  • Participants have until August 17 to pick up your prizes, while supplies last.
