Brew 'N Bee V: Unleash The Hive!

Let’s be honest, folks. There’s a time and place for subtle, reserved discourse between like-minded scholars to be exchanged in a reasonable manner. And then there’s the Brew ‘N Bee at PetSkull Brewing Co., LLC, where semi-contained “intelligent” tomfoolery is allowed to run its course, unleashed to swarm all those in attendance with a less-than-subtle blend of smarts and yowling bravado!

As such, the “T-I-M-E” to partake in a bit of friendly “C-O-M-P-E-T-I-T-I-O-N” while indulging in a couple of quality micro-brewed beers (should one so choose to) is upon us again: “Brew ‘N Bee V: Unleash the Hive!’” Manitowoc Public Library and PetSkull Brewing Company, LLC, will once again join forces to present this annual orthographic scrum in PetSkull’s outdoor Beer Garden on Wednesday, July 23, at 6 PM. As before, this will be a Single Elimination event, so if you spell a word wrong, you’re out! However, “Cheats” will again be available for purchase beforehand the day of the Bee to help keep you in the competition should a misspelling occur.

A $20 participation fee will be associated with the Brew ‘N Bee and registration is required. It should be noted that all proceeds from the purchase of Cheats and the registration fee (once minor expenses are met) will be donated to Friends of Manitowoc Public Library. It should be further noted that PetSkull Brewing will be generously donating the entirety of their portion of the registration fee to the Friends of MPL!!! Can you spell “A-M-A-Z-I-N-G”?!

Space is Limited! Registration opens at 9 AM on Monday, June 16, for Adults 21-and-over at https://www.manitowoclibrary.org/event/brew-n-bee-v. Full rules for “Unleash the Hive!’” will be contained within the Registration Packet, which is handed to participants the night of The Bee. PLEASE NOTE: While registration for this event takes place online, payment of the $20 Registration Fee must be made at PetSkull Brewing Company IN CASH prior to the start of the Brew N’ Bee on July 23.

$20 Registration Fee. For this fee you will receive:

• Two pints of amazing PetSkull Beer (or soda/water, if you prefer)
• A Certificate of Participation (suitable either for framing or using as a placemat the night of the Bee)

• A shot at glory!

“Cheats” will be available for purchase on a cash-only basis before the competition begins. Limit of one type of each cheat per contestant. Cheats include:
