Family Activity Night: Farmer's Market Jamboree with FoodWIse

Time to celebrate all the wonderful field-to-table deliciousness that’s available at our state’s Farmers’ Markets with Jace from FoodWIse. FoodWIs’es motto—“Healthy Choices, Healthy Lives”—sums up this particular FAN nicely. First up, Jace will be reading “Max Goes to the Farmers’ Market,” by Adria Klein to those in attendance before moving onto a taste-sampling of delicious produce. Next, everyone will get to learn about what foods are sold at Wisconsin Farmer's markets, before finishing-up with a drawing activity of what Wisconsin fruit or vegetable they’d like to be! Brenda Green Bean?!? Outrageous! Tomato Tom?! So silly it just makes sense.
