Join Jordan Kabat, peony expert, for an introduction to the many different types of peonies available to today’s gardener that reach far beyond the pink and white varieties your grandmother grew.

Many believe that all peonies only bloom for only a brief period of time, and that they have a tendency to rest their large and heavy blooms on the ground following sessions of rain or wind. While these traits may be the case with hybrids of old, there is an impressive array of cultivars available that the general public simply are not aware of.

This tour of a peony garden in full bloom will serve as an introduction to the incredible variety available to us from this truly exceptional genus.
