Have you ever wandered around a farmers market and thought "That looks amazing . . . . but what is it and how would I use it?" Most of us have, to be honest.

Enjoy storytime and nature combined at the beautiful West of the Lake Gardens. After hearing stories celebrating the great outdoors, stay to wander the serene 6-1/2-acre site, taking in the balmy breezes of Lake Michigan. 

Congregate with cows. Sit with sheep. Gather with goats. Meet local 4-H members and their project animals on the library lawn. Learn what it takes to raise and show animals at the county fair.

The Manitowoc County Genealogical Society will be in the Manitowoc Collection every Tuesday from 3-5PM to help people with their genealogy research.

Baby Storytime is 20 minutes of stories, songs, rhymes, bounces, parachute activities, and bubbles, followed by 20 minutes of playtime! Baby Storytime is recommended for developmental ages 0-2 and siblings are always welcome.

Join us in singing, talking, reading, creating, and playing at this inclusive Storytime for families with preschoolers. Storytime focuses on concepts such as life skills, counting, colors, emotions, patterns, and the alphabet.

Manitowoc Public Library is delighted to present "An Evening with Temple Grandin." The evening will feature an onstage interview with Dr. Grandin, followed by a Q&A session, and a book signing.  Copies of Dr.

Kids and teens can build the marble run roller coaster of their imaginations and test out the laws of physics. All materials supplied.

Forget about the tacos, it's Tie Dye Tuesday! Join us on the lawn to create your very own tie-dyed masterpiece. You bring a fabric item (t-shirt sized or smaller), and we will provide the dye and supplies to make an original work of art.
